Up till a few months ago Bob worked for a vending machine company and as
far as I know still does and Alec has retired and lives in the Manor park area.
I spoke to him on the phone a couple of weeks ago.

Carol , did the owners of the two puddings also have a pub out in the sticks a bit  , couldn't tell you where and I could be wrong , but i seem to remember some of the staff saying they were working there on occasion and Alec was was a very nice and knowledgeable man and on occasion I used talk to as he waited for his bus home but it was a long time ago and he wouldn't remember me . A bit more about the book launch on the 5th of December ,
As well as Eddie and Mathew being there to have a chat and answer questions
Kenny will also be there so any old Lotus regulars might be interested in going along .
Tickets are £4 .. drink and buffet or nibbles , not sure..

Dear all,

Just a reminder that the London launch of 'Tales from the Two Puddings' is at 6.30pm on Wednesday, December 5th at the Picture House Cinema, Stratford.
I will be on stage with my brother Kenny and will be taking questions from my son Matt and the audience. I will also read some sections from the book.

We will then go upstairs for the book signing, glass of wine and crisps and twiglets.
Rob West, the filmmaker, is hoping to make a documentary about the Two Puddings and he might like to interview some old Puddings customers.

The Picture House is situated very near the old Theatre Royal.
Here is a map with directions  http://www.picturehouses.co.uk/cinema/Stratford_London/Hires_Info/Venue_Info/Location/
The cinema will charge a small admission fee. This amount is solely for the cinema to cover their staff and expenses for the evening.

I am really looking forward to seeing you all, it's a chance to renew old friendships and make some new ones.
             Eddie  Johnson
