EAST HAM HIGH STREET 1950
« on: 09 April, 2012, 12:20:47 PM »
Fingers crossed
I am trying to post another Street Photograph of my (Future Husband) and I on the
day I walked High Street East Ham for the very last time  :'(
This was on the Saturday and we got Engaged on the Good Friday.

After returning home to Manor Park I was setting off the next day to work at Vauxhall Motors, Luton.
My Fiancee in the Tool Room and I was going in to Sales Office.

If this photograph gets through it is not as good as Barking Road effort, but might be placed as we were just
approaching (Wet Fish Shop and M&S,Jeromes)?
My one regret is LEAVING and not having a Pie & mash instead of Milk Shake in Black & White Bar.? before.
Louise.

Hi Louise,

I love the photo of your nan at Rathbone  :D. I hadn't realised it was also a 1937 Sunny Snap as was the one I posted of my nan, great nan, dad (and 2 of my uncles in the background I think)
