Hi Great Photo of Angel lane ,i can see the shops Hunts corn and seed merchants , i remember my dad taking me in there in the 1950s i can still see the old wooden floor with loads of open sacks with grain ,split peas and broad beans e t c, i cant help thinking it would have made a lovely shop if it was still here today and also a lot of the other shops that have gone?

Hi Mick , Great photo just how i remember it , i remember watching Joe Brown filming down Angel Lane (what a Crazy World)
he came out of that alley on a push bike,you can see in the photo from the film the clothes shop  A Levy's   i cant down load photos so here is a link.   http://www.reelstreets.com/films/what-a-crazy-world/
it says on the photo they dont know the location.
